Empath is an LA-based seasonless fashion label, created by Japanese designer Emily Arakawa. Her collection comprises of unique and versatile pieces to be worn for a variety of occasions, produced in limited quantities. Empath prioritises fair wages and transparency in its supply chain and production process. In addition, Emily continuously explores ways to increase sustainability and efficiency in pursuing her dream of building a sustainable fashion brand.

Working together with VESTIS LABS, Emily is able to iterate her designs quickly without having to create excess physical samples, reducing physical sample production by 70% and sampling costs by 50%.
VESTIS LABS’ platform also helps Emily to manage her designs and collections efficiently where information and communication are organized in one place and can be shared with team members, reducing miscommunication and increasing accuracy.

DIGITAL PROTOTYPE
Vestis Labs created digital prototype to visualise Empath's design. Design iterations were carried out quickly, including fit comments and ammendments.
TECH PACK & PATTERN FOR PRODUCTION
Once the style was finalised, a tech pack & pattern for production were produced to create the physical sample.
FINAL SAMPLE
A physical sample was produced before final production. Final digital sample can be used for marketing materials.
